Also inhibits human neutrophil 5-lipoxygenase. Inhibits IκB kinase (IKK) by modifying Cys179 of the IKK? subunit. Efficient inducer of mitochondrial membrane permeability transition via the inhibition of mitochondrial thioredoxin reductase (TrxR).
