LDN-193189 influence both smad signaling pathway and non-smad signaling pathway. Both of the signaling pathways are induced by BMP2 (Bone morphogenetic protein), BMP6 (Bone morphogenetic protein 6) or GDF5. LDN-193189 also shows inhibition to p38, ERK1/2 and Akt in C2C12 cells.
